HEPATITIS "A"

1. This is the most common type of viral hepatitis, highly infectious and is caused by hepatitis A virus. This disease commonly affects children and young adults. 2. Spread of infection is mainly by the oro-fecal route and arises from the ingestion of contaminated water and food (e.g milk). Overcrowding and poor sanitation facilitate the spread. Infected person excretes virus in the feces for about 2 weeks before the onset of clinical illness and for up to 7 days after.

Most of the people refuse to understand, the secret code of success which is very simple : JUST TRY ONE MORE TIME IN A DIFFERENT WAY... A life with affection will have some thorns too, but A life without affection will have no roses. Success is not defined by obtaining everything you want, but by enjoying and appreciating everything you have.

Japanese boy teaches lesson in sacrifice

EDITOR'S note: THIS letter, written by Vietnamese immigrant Ha Minh Thanh working in Fukushima as a policeman to a friend in Vietnam, was posted on New America Media on March 19. It is a testimonial to the strength of the Japanese spirit, and an interesting slice of life near the epicenter of Japan's crisis at the Fukushima nuclear power plant. It was translated by NAM editor Andrew Lam, author of "East Eats West: Writing in Two Hemispheres." Shanghai Daily condensed it. Brother, How are you and your family? These last few days, everything was in chaos. When I close my eyes, I see dead bodies. When I open my eyes, I also see dead bodies. Each one of us must work 20 hours a day, yet I wish there were 48 hours in the day, so that we could continue helping and rescuing folks. We are without water and electricity, and food rations are near zero. We barely manage to move refugees before there are new orders to move them elsewhere. I am currently in Fukushima, about 25 kilometers away from the nuclear power plant. I have so much to tell you that if I could write it all down, it would surely turn into a novel about human relationships and behaviors during times of crisis. People here remain calm - their sense of dignity and proper behavior are very good - so things aren't as bad as they could be. But given another week, I can't guarantee that things won't get to a point where we can no longer provide proper protection and order. They are humans after all, and when hunger and thirst override dignity, well, they will do whatever they have to do. The government is trying to provide supplies by air, bringing in food and medicine, but it's like dropping a little salt into the ocean. Brother, there was a really moving incident. It involves a little Japanese boy who taught an adult like me a lesson on how to behave like a human being. Last night, I was sent to a little grammar school to help a charity organization distribute food to the refugees. It was a long line that snaked this way and that and I saw a little boy around 9 years old. He was wearing a T-shirt and a pair of shorts. It was getting very cold and the boy was at the very end of the line. I was worried that by the time his turn came there wouldn't be any food left. So I spoke to him. He said he was at school when the earthquake happened. His father worked nearby and was driving to the school. The boy was on the third floor balcony when he saw the tsunami sweep his father's car away. I asked him about his mother. He said his house is right by the beach and that his mother and little sister probably didn't make it. He turned his head and wiped his tears when I asked about his relatives. The boy was shivering so I took off my police jacket and put it on him. That's when my bag of food ration fell out. I picked it up and gave it to him. "When it comes to your turn, they might run out of food. So here's my portion. I already ate. Why don't you eat it?" The boy took my food and bowed. I thought he would eat it right away, but he didn't. He took the bag of food, went up to where the line ended and put it where all the food was waiting to be distributed. I was shocked. I asked him why he didn't eat it and instead added it to the food pile. He answered: "Because I see a lot more people hungrier than I am. If I put it there, then they will distribute the food equally." When I heard that I turned away so that people wouldn't see me cry. A society that can produce a 9-year-old who understands the concept of sacrifice for the greater good must be a great society, a great people. Well, a few lines to send you and your family my warm wishes. The hours of my shift have begun again. Ha Minh Thanh
I love sunglasses because they make you look trendy but how much protection do they really offer? Yes you can stand the sun for a while longer with sunglasses on but it doesn’t save you from the harsh UV rays. Now there is something called 'Face Sunglass' that protect not just your eyes but your entire face and skin. It’s made of a special film, the same material used for luxurious eyewear. It gives you 99.9% of UV protection, prevents condensation to remove fog of the glasses, which happens when you move into a different temperature zone. Face Sunglasses cover most of your face and can prove to be an indispensable product for outdoor activity. Apart from being useful outdoors it can also save your face from problems like freckles, age spots, etc.
In a poor zoo of India, a lion was frustrated as he was offered not More than 1 kg of meat a day. The lion thought its prayers were answered. When one day a Dubai Zoo Manager visited the zoo and requested the zoo management to shift the lion to Dubai Zoo. The lion was so happy and started thinking of a central A/C environment, a goat or two every day. On its first day after arrival, the lion was offered a big bag, sealed very nicely for breakfast. The lion opened it quickly but was shocked to see that it contained few bananas. The lion thought that may be they cared too much for him as they were worried about his stomach as he had recently shifted from India . The next day the same thing happened. On the third day gain the same food bag of bananas was delivered. The lion was so furious; it stopped the delivery boy and blasted at him, 'don't you know I am the lion...king of the Jungle..., what's wrong with your management? What nonsense is this? Why are you delivering bananas to me? The delivery boy politely said, 'Sir, I know you are the king of the jungle ... but... you have been brought here on a monkey's visa Moral of the Story.... You have a value in your own country only in other countries you have no value... So Respect Your Country.*

What is Insulin and how does it work?

Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas, the organ situated behind the stomach. When insulin is absent, or is deficient, or is defective, sugar (glucose) cannot enter the cells and remains in blood in high amounts. Causing Diabetes When diabetes progresses, insulin becomes inevitable. After injection, insulin enters the bloodstream and is carried throughout the body where it acts by attaching itself onto cell surfaces and allows sugar to enter the cells. Who needs Insulin Injections? Persons with type 1 diabetes are dependent on insulin injections as their pancreas is unable to produce insulin. In type 2 diabetes, there may be periods (e.g. during illness, surgery or pregnancy) when an otherwise effective tablet treatment has to be temporarily replaced by insulin treatment. In addition, many patients with type 2 diabetes do much better on a daily insulin injection, especially when tablets are no longer effective. The decision about whether you require insulin is best made by your doctor. Don't have any aversion for insulin.
Acupressure is derived from Acupuncture, which brings about the balance in Yin & Yang, Five Elements and QI. This is achieved by the judicial application of finger pressure on acupuncture points relating to the energy channels instead of using acupuncture needles. Acupressure is effective in relieving the stagnation of body fluids caused by improper lifestyle habits and stress metabolites like lactic acid. Acupressure is more effective with appropriate lifestyle changes. Acupressure has profound effect in Pain Management, Stress Management, Relaxation, Tension Headaches, Migraine, Energy balance, Insomnia, and Fibromyalgia. The Organs of our body have their sensory touches at the bottom of our feet, if we massage these points we will find relief from aches and pains as we can see the heart is on the left foot. Typically they are shown as points and arrows to show which organ it connects to. It is indeed correct since the nerves connected to these organs terminate here. This is covered in great details in Acupressure studies or textbooks. God created our body so well that he thought of even this. He made us walk so that we will always be pressing these pressure points and thus keeping these organs activated at all times. So, keep on walking...
Developing Self-Confidence One Step At A Time! The process of developing self-confidence begins when you first change your belief of what you think you can or cannot accomplish. If you don't believe that you have the ability to accomplish whatever it is that you are striving for you are without question guaranteeing your failure. Most of us sabotage our chances to achieve higher levels of success in life because we fail to believe in ourselves. If you try your hardest and you still find that you cannot make yourself belief in your ability to accomplish a particular task, then Fake It! That's right, I said fake it, just forget what your mind is telling you and start telling yourself that nothing can stop you. You see it is not your mind that is telling you that you cannot do something, it is You telling your mind that you cannot do whatever it may be so you have to get past your own self-defeating beliefs. This is something that you can do and I will help to show you how but it will be up to you to take the actions that I suggest. So now we know that developing self-confidence is a process and not an impossibility and we know that it starts by changing the belief that we hold in our mind. If you are having a difficult time with changing your mindset what you need to do is start with something small and by small I just mean choose something that you would like to achieve that does not present an overwhelming challenge. Developing Self-Confidence Is Easy But It Takes Action! It really can be anything, baking a pie from scratch, sinking a ten foot putt, reading a book within a week you see where I am going with this so find something similar and we will get to work. If your mind is telling you that it is just too difficult you are going to have to start to tell your mind that you can do it because in essence you control your thoughts. You can start this process through the use of self-talk, this is where you just spend a day continuously telling yourself that you can accomplish the task you have chosen. Now, after spending the day taking control of your thoughts and telling yourself that you can accomplish the task at hand "get to it," jump right in and show yourself that you have the power and the ability to win! There you go, you just took your first major step in developing your self-confidence. Your self-esteem will rise with every accomplishment regardless of how grand or glorious it may or may not be. The fact is you took the first step and you proved to yourself that you can change your beliefs. As your self-esteem rises so does your self-confidence and your belief that you can accomplish tasks that you might otherwise not have been able to accomplish. This all becomes a vicious yet wonderful chain reaction that results in you developing self-confidenceto set higher and higher goals. This is how you build upon your smaller success. You started with one small goal which you did not believe you could accomplish yet you proved yourself wrong but in reality you proved yourself to be right because you spent that one day telling yourself that you could accomplish the task at hand and in the end that is exactly what you had done. So What Do You Do Now? Developing Self-Confidence One - Two - Three Steps At A Time! You begin to set a series of higher goals but you take each of those higher goals and break them down into smaller steps. Just visualize it in your mind as a stairway with a small landing at every 5 to 10 steps, these landings are the small goals that once achieved present the accomplishment of the larger goal you had set for yourself. As you make your way up those steps with every smaller goal you achieve your pride begins to climb right along side you and the more self-pride you have the greater your self-esteem thus leading to the development of your self-confidence. Self-confidence comes from positive knowing. Positive knowing just means that you are certain that you know how to do whatever it is that you need or want to do. Now where did we start with all this? We said that developing self-confidence required one to change their belief , to go from believing that you cannot do something to believing that you can. A person that believes in him or herself holds a strong healthy self-image. You must begin to work on changing your thoughts, really taking control over them and to begin to truly believe in yourself. You have more personal power than you might think and isn't it time for you to begin to harness that power? You can do, I can do, anyone can do anything they set their minds to so you don't have to live a life with limits, you have the tools to begin developing self-confidence to achieve your greatest desires.
============ ====== ARTICLE START ============ ===== Are you the parent of a child or a teen who uses the internet? If you are, there is a good chance that you use Internet Explorer for your browser, as it comes standard on most computers. The good news is that if you are using Internet Explorer, which has the blue colored e icon, it is easy for you to set parental controls. These parental controls can block your child from viewing dangerous content online. As nice as it is to hear that you can limit the websites that your child or teenager gains access to online, you may be curious as to how you can go about doing so. As it was previously stated, the process is relatively easy. Outlined below are a few steps to help get you started. 1 – Open a new Internet Explorer window. You can do this by clicking on that blue e icon that was mentioned above. 2 – Click on "Tools," from the drop down menu bar at the top of the page. 3 – Click on "Internet Options," and a new smaller window will appear. 4 – Click on the "Content," tab, as this is where you are able to set the controls. 5 – Under the heading of "Content Advisor," you will see an enable button, click on it and a new window will appear. By following the above mentioned steps, you should get to the point where you are able to enter in your preferences. You may first want to start with the ratings. Click on the "Ratings," tab. When using the ratings feature that is provided through Internet Explorer, you will see at least four main headings, which include language, sex, nudity, and violence. You are able to determine what can be viewed on your computer based on levels. For example, Level 1 for violence is fighting, Level 2 is killing, Level 3 is blood and gore, and so forth. Remember that you can readjust these ratings at any point in time. If you use the internet safety rating features that are provided by Internet Explorer, it is important to know that some sites can innocently be blocked. For example, a site that simply mentions the words "violence," or "kill," may be blocked, even if they are not violent websites. For that reason, you may need to make some adjustments. This can easily be done by clicking on the "Approved Sites," tab. When you click on the "Approved Sites," tab you are able to enter in the websites that you would like to have viewable. This feature is nice to have if your child or teenager is using a family computer, like one that you and your spouse may also use. It addition to listing approved sites, you can also list the websites that you want to never make viewable. This is ideal if you are prohibiting your child from using a social networking website, like MySpace. Aside from adding the websites that you and other adults in your household view to the approved sites list, you can also use a password. You can create a password for your computer and the parental controls by click on the "General," tab. Create a password that is easy for you and the rest of the adults in your household to remember, but one that is hard enough that your child or teen can't figure out themselves. In fact, do not give your child the password. An adult in your home can use it if they ask to have a safe site unblocked.

Natural Treatments for Type 2 Diabetes By Cathy Wong, About.com Guide

Updated October 27, 2007 What is Type 2 Diabetes? According to the American Diabetes Association, nearly 21 million people in the United States have diabetes, with about 90 to 95% having type 2 diabetes. Sugar, in the form of glucose, is the main source of fuel for body cells. The hormone insulin allows glucose in blood to enter cells. In type 2 diabetes, either the body doesn't produce enough insulin or cells are resistant to effects of insulin. As a result, glucose builds up in the blood instead of entering cells, which causes cells to be deprived of energy. If high glucose levels in the blood persist, it may damage the eyes, heart, kidneys, or nerves. Natural Remedies for Type 2 Diabetes There are some natural treatments that are being explored for type 2 diabetes. If you are interested in trying a natural treatment in addition to standard treatment, be sure do so only under the close supervision of a qualified health professional. If diabetes is not properly controlled, the consequences can be life-threatening. Also inform your physician about any herbs, supplements, or natural treatments you are using, because some may interact with the medications you are taking and result in hypoglycemia unless properly coordinated. Consider keeping track of your herbs, vitamins, and supplements with the Supplement Diary and giving your doctor a copy. 1) Ginseng Although there are several different types of ginseng, most of the promising studies on ginseng and diabetes have used North American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius). Those studies have shown that North American ginseng may improve blood sugar control and glycosylated hemogobin (a form of hemoglobin in the blood used to monitor blood glucose levels over time) levels. • Ginseng Fact Sheet • Ginseng and Blood Sugar 2) Chromium Chromium is an essential trace mineral that plays an important role in carbohydrate and fat metabolism and helps body cells properly respond to insulin. In fact, studies have found low levels of chromium in people with diabetes. There are many promising studies suggesting chromium supplementation may be effective, but they are far from conclusive. For example, a small study published in the journal Diabetes Care compared the diabetes medication sulfonylurea taken with 1,000 mcg of chromium to sulfonylurea taken with a placebo. After 6 months, people who did not take chromium had a significant increase in body weight, body fat, and abdominal fat, whereas people taking the chromium had significant improvements in insulin sensitivity. Another study published in the same journal, however, examined the effect of chromium on glycemic control in insulin-dependent people with type 2 diabetes. People were given either 500 or 1,000 mcg a day of chromium or a placebo for six months. There was no significant difference in glycosylated hemoglobin, body mass index, blood pressure, or insulin requirements across the three groups. One form of chromium not recommended is chromium picolinate. For more information, read Chromium Picolinate Side Effects. 3) Magnesium Magnesium is a mineral found naturally in foods such as green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole grains and in nutritional supplements. Magnesium is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions. It helps regulate blood sugar levels and is needed for normal muscle and nerve function, heart rhythm, immune function, blood pressure, and for bone health. Some studies suggest that low magnesium levels may worsen blood glucose control in type 2 diabetes. There is also some evidence that magnesium supplementation may help with insulin resistance. For example, a study examined the effect of magnesium or placebo in 63 people with type 2 diabetes and low magnesium levels who were taking the medication glibenclamide. After 16 weeks, people who took magnesium had improved insulin sensitivty and lower fasting glucose levels.

Cellular Basis of Yogic Exercises by Dr. Anil Rajvanshi

Yogic exercises are normally done to tone the body and the nervous system. Yogic exercises come under Hath Yoga system which is one of the eight limbs of "Ashtang Yoga" as enunciated in Patanjali Yoga Sutras. Hath Yogis have believed that the body toning is a result of nerve stretching. This belief may have scientific basis. Recently scientists have discovered that cells in human body change depending on how they are stretched [1]. They have shown that if you pull a stem cell in one way it starts developing into a brain cell; stretch it in other ways and a muscle or a bone cell results! And the most far reaching consequence of this stretching is for cancer cells. Change their mechanical stress and they start behaving like normal cells! The Yogic exercises of stretching the nerves and toning the nervous system that ultimately affect the cells mechanically can therefore affect the body in a very positive way at the cellular level. Till now the biological and medical community believed that whenever they wanted to know why a cell behaved in a certain manner, they needed only to identify the genes, proteins and other chemical processes and pathways for the answers. Biological community considers chemical processes to be of paramount importance. However in nature all the forces are taken into account for a system's evolution and mechanical stress at cellular level is as important and prevalent as the chemical process. Scientists have also discovered that though the cells in human body are subjected to mechanical stress and strain in every part of body, their native environment exerts the maximum effect on their growth and development [1]. For example, a cell stressed in a certain way will not convert into a nerve cell if it's near a bone. The chances of it becoming a bone cell are higher because of the physical and chemical environment of the existing bone structure. This could be the basis of Yogic asanas which in their innumerable forms affect and tone very specifically the nervous system of different parts of body. Some like Pranayama, Nauli (gut wrenching), Sheersh Asana (head stand) and focusing the eyes to the center of forehead in meditation, affect the deep nervous system and could help in rejuvenating the body. Production of healthy cells is the most important aspect of rejuvenation of body. For example in the dhyana asana of focusing the eyes on the center of forehead, the optic nerve gets stretched by about 1-1.5 mm. This stretching may help stimulate the pituitary gland since the optic nerve passes very close to it before reaching the visual cortex at the back of the brain [2]. The pituitary gland is the master gland of the body and its secretions help in maintaining the harmony of other endocrine glands. Besides it secretes the oxytocin hormone (also called happiness hormone) and almost all the sexual chemicals Besides the Yogic exercises, general exercise regime of running, walking or aerobic exercises may also help in the cell rejuvenation. The "high" that people, who do regular exercises, get could not only be because of the secretion of chemicals by the brain but also because of the cell stretching. Similarly the deep muscle massage may also help in the stretching of cells. But it should be done properly otherwise cells may convert into other and harmful cells. For example scientists have also found that prior to formation of invasive tumors, the cellular matrix surrounding the regular cells became stiffer [1]. This stiffening could be the result of physical or emotional stress. Thus the change in "microenvironment" of cells with stress may be conducive to cancer formation. Scientists believe that one of the ways of curing cancer could be physical manipulation of this "microenvironment". Yogic asanas may help in this process. This could also be the reason why the Yoga practitioners have always suggested that some of the difficult Yogic asanas affecting the deep nervous system should be done under the supervision of experienced Yoga teachers, so that the cells are stretched in proper manner. Morning Story - God is at work in our lives !

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened - everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger. "God, how could you do this to me?" he cried. Early the next day, however, he was awakened by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island. It had come to rescue him. "How did you know I was here?" asked the weary man of his rescuers. "We saw your smoke signal", they replied. It's easy to get discouraged sometimes when things appear to be going badly. But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of pain and suffering.

Go ahead and go for it. Forget about what others will think. Don't let yourself be stopped by what might go wrong. Get yourself adequately prepared and then take that big step forward. Sure you'll make mistakes and experience setbacks. But that's no reason to keep yourself hidden behind your own doubts or insecurities. Your biggest regrets will be for the opportunities that you allow to pass you by. Avoid the painful sting of regret by jumping into the ring and meeting the challenges of achievement with the best you have. It brings you no value to forever wonder what might have been. Go for it, now, today and make your mark on what will be. Move beyond just dreaming about it, or talking about it, or planning for it, or hoping it will come. Go for it, and truly make it happen.

Better Times Will Come

Don’t let the pain of one season, destroy the joy of all the rest. Don’t judge life by one difficult season. Persevere through the difficult patches; And better times are sure to come some time or late.
Most of Our Failures in Human Relations are due to “misunderstandings”. We expect other people to react and respond and come to the same conclusions as we do from a given set of “facts” or “circumstances.” No one responds or reacts to “things as they are,” but to his own mental images. Most of the time, a person “understands” and interprets the situation differently from us. He is merely responding appropriately to what – to him – seems to be the truth about the situation. Ask yourself: “How does this appear to him?” “How does he interpret this situation?” “How does he feel about it?” Try to understand why he might “act the way he does” In dealing with other people try to see the situation from their point of view as well as your own.

Our failures in human relations !

Ask yourself: “How does this appear to him?” “How does he interpret this situation?” “How does he feel about it?” Try to understand why he might “act the way he does” In dealing with other people try to see the situation from their point of view as well as your own. public_awareness@yahoogroups.com

Put an End to Negativity by Jane Powell – Meditations for Women

“Awareness is the power you need to take control.” Throughout each day you’re constantly talking to yourself. It’s completely normal. We all do it. In fact we do it so much that our subconscious mind accepts what we say as truth.
This acceptance forms the beliefs that we have of ourselves, and how we perceive that others see us. If your self-talk is negative, your beliefs about yourself will be also. On the flip side, if your self-talk is positive and self-empowering, so is the image and the beliefs you have of yourself. Take time today and tune in to how you’re speaking to yourself. Identify precisely what beliefs you’re forming based on your self-talk and bring them to your conscious mind. Question them, scrutinize them, and become familiar with what are they telling you. The awareness gained by doing this is the first major step toward an empowerment that will affect everything in your life! Today’s Affirmation: I am aware of my self-talk and its power. ==================== With my true friendship, SADRU RAJWANI

What are workplace ethics?

Many of the people who are guilty of ignoring the basic office ethics are not even aware of the fact that they are doing anything out of the ordinary. In order to make sure that you are not one of those employees who disrupt the office environment by ignoring basic ethics, go through the list of workplace ethics described below and never go against them. Taking Credit: When you are credited for some work, make sure that you do not take credit for someone else’s efforts. If you are being given undue credit, you must rectify it immediately by giving the credit where it is due. Bear in mind this will not affect you negatively rather your coworkers and superiors will appreciate the fact that you had the strength of character to give the credit where it is due.
Be Honest: When it comes to workplace, honesty is one of the most cherished traits in an employee and a coworker. No one likes to have a person on the team who is prone to lying and misrepresenting facts. Be honest even if it means admitting that you made a mistake rather than trying to pin it on someone else. Be Courteous: Courtesy is the one thing that counts a lot when you are working at any organization. Remember that you do not have to be courteous just towards your superiors and coworkers but also towards those who are working at a lower level than you are. You should say hello and goodbye to the office boys, helpers and the receptionist. If you are haughty and rude towards those who are working at a lower level than yours, people will not respect you as well. Keep in mind; if you want to be respected by people, you have to respect them. Avoid Socializing At Work: Most people are in the habit of socializing at work and do so continuously. They do not realize the fact that they are disturbing the colleagues and are affecting their output. The superiors also do not take you seriously since they view you as someone who wastes most of the time chatting with other people. If you wish to chat with you coworkers do that during the lunch time and after the office timings are over. It is ok for you to chat with a colleague occasionally but do not disturb others while doing so. Bottom Line: Office ethics are very important in making a workplace comfortable and conducive to high productivity. As a result managers keep a tight watch on the factors that affect the office environment and try to retain the employees who contribute positively and replace the employees who disrupt the smooth flow of things. The rules differ from one organization to another, but if you follow the basic ethics given in the article there is a good chance that you will be well liked and appreciated by your coworkers and superiors.

live well. love much. laugh often

live well. love much. laugh often Don’t Be Nosy: Just as you should not discuss your personal life at work, you also have to refrain from poking your nose in other people’s affairs. Do not ask personal questions or try to pry out details that the other person clearly doesn’t want to share. Same goes for official matters that you have been excluded from. If two of your coworkers are having a private conversation, there is no need for you to get to know what they are discussing. Respect Privacy: You should respect the privacy of your coworkers. Peeking into their cubicles from time to time and stealing glances at their computer screens is absolutely unacceptable. Moreover listening to their conversations and looking into their files is something that can make the coworker furious. So no matter how much you want to look into his computer files, Keep in mind that curiosity killed the cat. Welcome The Newcomers: Being rude to the newcomers, creating problems for them, mocking them and giving them a hard time are some things you should never even dream of. You have to bear in mind that you are not in school anymore and even back then no one liked a bully. Be courteous to the newcomers and help them whenever needed. Phone Call Etiquette: The most common and the most abundant ethical mistakes are made when people are attending phone calls. When you are receiving a phone call, talk in a low voice so that you do not disturb your coworkers. Moreover keep you cell phones on silent so that whenever your cell phone rings, your coworkers are not disturbed. While dealing with phone calls, make sure that you only attend official phone calls and emergency calls only. Do not call your friends or family members to chat with them unnecessarily as they only create distractions for the coworkers and cast you as an unprofessional employee.

Ansar Abbasi

ISLAMABAD: An underworld don, involved in the multi-billion car theft trade in the country, has volunteered to name and expose the powerful mafia players who, according to him, include several police officials, Excise Department personnel, private businessmen and some political figures. But the don fears for his life for which he is seeking protection. Muhammad Hasan, alias Major Muhammad Hasan, against whom there are more than 100 cases of car theft registered in different police stations of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, however, does not trust anyone but Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to make disclosures, which he insists would be vital to launch a decisive crackdown against the mafia.
